Project Description:
This project called for replacement of an existing grass football field with artificial turf field and upgraded field event areas. The project included demolition of the existing field, end zones and field event areas, installation of underlying drainage system and subsurface preparation for the turf system. The field event areas were compacted, paved with asphalt and covered with a resilient synthetic surface (shown in red). The new football field and end zones were covered with artificial turf. The project also included construction of a storm water retention pond and various solutions for existing adjacent drainage issues.
