Project Description:
The Falls Restaurant was located along the north side of NM 528 east of Coors By-pass Blvd. on a 1.88-acre site. The asphalt parking lot was designed for approximately 90 automobiles and 6 motorcycles. There is a 15-foot elevation change along the property frontage and most of the site is approximately 10 feet higher than NM 528 on the south edge. To provide for the significant elevation differences, segmental block wall up to 8 feet high was constructed around three sides of the property. The building and parking lot drain to a detention basin at the extreme northeast end of the site. Runoff from the basin is released through an 18-inch reinforced concrete pipe into a 60-inch public storm drain.
